How to Reset Your Epson Stylus NX530 Printer

Resetting Your Printer Using the Control Panel




The easiest way to reset your Epson Stylus NX530 printer is to use the control panel on the device. You can choose to reset only the network settings, all settings except network settings, or all settings. Here are the steps to follow:


  • Press the Home button on the control panel.



  • Press the arrow buttons to select Setup and press the OK button.



  • Press the arrow buttons to select Restore Default Settings and press the OK button.



  • You will see a screen with three options: Reset Network Settings, Reset All except Network Settings, and Reset All Settings. Select the option that suits your needs and press the OK button.



  • You will see a confirmation screen. Select Yes and press the OK button to reset the selected settings. (Select No and press the OK button if you want to cancel the operation.)



After resetting your printer, you may need to reconnect it to your wireless network or reinstall the drivers on your computer.


Resetting Your Printer Using a Software Tool




Another way to reset your Epson Stylus NX530 printer is to use a software tool called WIC Reset Utility. This tool can help you reset the waste ink pad counter, which is a feature that prevents your printer from overflowing with ink. If your printer displays an error message that says "The Printer's Ink Pads are at the end of their service life", you can use this tool to reset it and continue printing. Here are the steps to follow:




  • Connect your printer to your computer using a USB cable.



  • Open WIC Reset Utility and select your printer model from the drop-down menu.



  • Click on Read Waste Counters to check the current status of your waste ink pad counter.



  • If the counter is more than 100%, you need to reset it. Click on Buy Key and follow the instructions to purchase a reset key online.
