Chunni loves to play pranks on the villagers, including her parents and her friend Mughal-e-azam. In the village, there is a mansion that is said to be haunted and legend goes that a witch called Makdee (Shabana Azmi) resides there. The legend has it that whosoever wanders into the mansion, comes out as an animal.


One day, Chunni's prank goes too far and she angers the local butcher Kallu (Makarand Deshpande), who chases Munni mistaking her for Chunni. Munni enters the mansion to hide from him and gets trapped inside. Chunni follows her and comes face to face with Makdee, who claims to have turned Munni into a hen. Chunni begs Makdee to spare her sister and strikes a deal with her. She agrees to bring 100 hens in exchange for Munni's life.


Chunni sets out on a mission to save her sister from the witch's clutches. She faces many challenges and dangers along the way, but also discovers some secrets about the mansion and its inhabitants. She also learns some valuable lessons about courage, friendship, and family.
